MadeOps ("we", "us", "our") operates the madeops.com platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information (name, email address, password)
  • Organization and tenant information
  • Business data you upload or connect (distributor reports, financial data, product information)
  • Third-party account data when you connect integrations (e.g., QuickBooks, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack)

3. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services (such as Intuit QuickBooks, Google Workspace, or Slack), we access only the data necessary to provide the features you enable. Specifically:

  • QuickBooks Online: We access invoice, payment, and expense data to populate your financial dashboard. We do not modify your QuickBooks data.
  • Google Drive: We read files from folders you designate to import distributor sales reports. We do not access other files.
  • Gmail: We read and send emails for helpdesk ticket management from mailboxes you explicitly connect.

You can disconnect any integration at any time from your Settings page. Upon disconnection, we stop accessing that service and delete stored access tokens.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the MadeOps platform
  • To process and display your business analytics, financial reports, and operational data
  • To send service-related communications (account verification, security alerts)
  • To respond to support requests

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted credential storage (AES-256-GCM), tenant-isolated database access, and role-based access controls. All third-party integration tokens are stored encrypted and never logged or exposed.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or disconnect an integration, associated data and tokens are removed. Backups may retain data for up to 30 days after deletion.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or business data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only: (a) with your consent, (b) to comply with legal obligations, or (c) with service providers who assist in operating our platform under strict confidentiality agreements.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may export your data or request account deletion by contacting us at the email below.
